You add one tag (auto-placed after your article content). The widget shows six recommended stories from the network. When a reader clicks through to another publisher, you earn a soft credit; those credits let your own articles be recommended on other network sites. Distribution is relevance-weighted by language and freshness, capped at two cards per domain, and always excludes your own site.
Will the Boost widget slow down my site or hurt SEO?
No. The widget is lazy-loaded — it only fetches recommendations when a reader scrolls near it — and it is fail-safe, rendering nothing if anything goes wrong. It does not block page rendering, so it does not harm Core Web Vitals, and recommendation widgets like this do not negatively affect SEO.
How is click quality and bot traffic handled?
